Lori's approach is to create counseling goals that reflect an individual or family's unique needs. Lori will provide the child, adolescent or family with the support necessary to allow for positive change to occur in their lives.  Lori will do this by utilizing existing strengths and giving clients new tools for coping and reaching their goals.  Lori enjoys feedback from clients during the therapeutic process in order to best fit their needs.  Lori has learned that it can be extremely effective to collaborate with physicians and school staff as a way to provide comprehensive care to her clients.  Lori will tailor her counseling approach for each client, recognizing that at times, it may be more effective to involve family members in the process.  Lori is willing to recommend or provide parenting classes, workshops or therapy groups to accommodate clients' unique needs.
